Wi-Fi
The Network & Communication Services Unit (NCSU) has progressively developed and expanded the university’s Wi-Fi infrastructure since its initial pilot deployment at the Faculty of Engineering in October 2015. Following successful implementation, coverage was extended to the Faculty of Dental Sciences and the Faculty of Science.
Today, Wi-Fi connectivity is available across the entire University of Peradeniya, providing campus-wide wireless access through a unified SSID. This centralized approach ensures consistent performance, seamless roaming, and secure access for students, academic staff, and non-academic staff throughout all faculties, libraries, and administrative areas.
